RedSky Technologies, Inc., the leading provider of automated E911 solutions to the enterprise, announced the latest version of the company's flagship product, E911 Manager®, has successfully achieved Interoperability Certification (IOC) from the Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC).
The JITC certification has resulted in E911 Manager® Version 6.10.0J being placed on the Department of Defense (DoD) Unified Capabilities (UC) Approved Products List (APL) for use as an E911 Management System (EMS) with Cisco Unified Communications Manager.
Jerry Eisner, RedSky's VP of Public Safety, responded to the certification, stating, “Working with the Department of Defense has been one of the most rewarding challenges of my time here at RedSky. Knowing that we have some part in ensuring the safety of our soldiers and their families by providing the only approved 9-1-1 management system makes what we do worth doing.
“Our team received notification of our JITC Certification for our core E911 Manager® product just before the Memorial Day holiday. We have met and surpassed the Department of Defense's toughest requirements for both cybersecurity and interoperability. No one else in the 9-1-1 industry can make that claim for 9-1-1 Management Systems.
“This puts us head and shoulders above our competitors in the Federal space and with every enterprise that places a high value in keeping both their employees and their systems secure.”
E911 Manager® integrates with major call servers and PBXs to track the detailed location of all types of phones on the enterprise network including analog, digital, SIP, H.323, WiFi and softphones. The application then automatically updates the location information used by call takers in public safety answering points (PSAPs) throughout the country to dispatch emergency response.
